Hi im spencer, I would like to adress the some issues that are being brought upon the New Braunfels, Canyon Highschools red turf. Being a student at this amazing highschool the one problem you wont see there is pride. Now i know people around the nation are having their doubts and their ugly honest opinions. They honestly do not know how much this school not only deserves this feild but also how much it means to us. When i see comments like "fire the coach" or "thats ugly" i would really like to know how a person who lives 30 states over can judge over an internet picture. Honestly its time the adults in this nation grow up and relize that its not one mans fault that the turf is red and that lots of time and consideration went into this project. The turf will be used for various sporting activities in which i and many other students enjoy greatly. The turf will also be used for multiple educational reasons. Another thing the staff at this highschool do an excellent job and would never make a decison that would put students learning material or education at risk. The school as a whole is incredibly nice but when we get a feild people assume our education is at fault. Well i have news for all you haters the Cougars work hard each in every day on the feild and in the classroom so can it about how our education money is wasted. All i have to say is the Cougars are looking for another succesful season and despite what people think of the feild we our proud of it.
